It has been a week since my new angel has passed, a week since I got that phone call and found myself on the floor in my hallway with my head to the floor crying my heart out. The news hit me so hard, I have never lost a friend this close to me, it was like losing my dad, and the level of emptiness is the same. She was family to me, closer than a sister, and her presence in my life will be greatly missed.
She was loved by many, and the outpouring of condolences from her friends has been overwhelming. I knew she had many friends, but WOW she had MANY friends lol. It has been touching to me and the family how everyone has addressed this with so much respect and reverence and I want everyone to know that your compassion has been much appreciated.
For now, what I can tell you, is that a week ago, in the middle of the night, Raven sat down and fell asleep and never woke up. She had a peaceful look on her face so it didn't appear she was in any pain. The final toxicology report still has not yet come in but for now, it looks as though she was just done with this world and left peacefully in the night, at the young age of 40. She is now able to watch over the many people she loved and will be our angel from now on. She would probably crack a joke about right now and said "I thought I told you, Heaven don't want me and Hell is afraid I will take over!" So I am assuming she is gonna be stuck around here for a while till the Powers that be figure out what to do with her lol.
So if you see a Raven, and it's looking at you like it knows you, say hello and blow her a kiss, because she is watching over you :)

I was supposed to meet Raven on a Saturday afternoon a long while ago. She got a last minute invitation to an acquaintances wedding. Then she stopped seeing clients after her surgery (?) and then her wedding. I saw that she was seeing clients again, but never got around to setting up an appointment. As a result we missed meeting. I am saddened to hear about her. Even more-so that I will never have the priviledge of meeting her.
